Hello! Welcome to Hoopla Events, a full service event planning company built around two passions: creating beautiful events and wanting to make a difference. For as long as I've known, I've had a passion for planning events and collaborating with people. I love listening to my clients share their vision, interests and ideas and I enjoy creating stories based on these ideas within the details of their event. Most consider planning work, but for me it brings a sense of joy and satisfaction. My other passion is a cause that is close to my heart: my love for everything adoption! Both of my children are adopted, so this cause is extremely meaningful to me. So I thought…why not create a model combining my two passions? – plan incredible events and include the philanthropic component for my clients.
My 20+ years of experience in the advertising industry working with clients on large-scale accounts to bring brands to life ended up being a seamless transition to my own business. My clients had the utmost trust in my skills to ensure a high-quality product would be delivered as per the strategy, direction, timeline, and budget specified. These skills contributed to bringing stories to life for my new event planning clients over the years.
But the event that started with a spark and ended being my biggest accomplishment was the day I decided to put together my 1st fundraiser: a Game of Thrones-inspired fundraising event supporting my children's orphanages in India. I went in full on with the encouragement and support of a fantastic planning committee. That spark ended up turning into full-blown fireworks. Every single element was thoughtfully planned out with Hoopla’s signature touch – the details. The 100+ attendees described it as an incredible experience. It was highly impactful by meeting it’s fundraising goals and a resounding success confirmed by the phenomenal feedback received by the guests. It was definitely a defining moment.
To date, it is one of my biggest achievements both personally and professionally. This event cemented the fact that I love what I do! I love collaborating with people to bring their ideas and stories to life; at the same time, knowing that I can add meaning by making a difference – in this case, to give back to my children's orphanages in India. As a result, Hoopla Events was officially born.

At Hoopla, we believe that we are all blessed in many, different ways and it is important to pay it forward. There is no better way to do this than to inspire our clients to give back to a special cause. If Hoopla Events is retained by you, 4% of Hoopla’s planning fees will be donated to a cause that is close to your heart.

Initiative 2 - REDEFINE KINDNESS: THE PURE SUNLIGHT PROJECT
Our goal is to continue our fundraising activities for orphanages in India and for the love of everything adoption. lt includes educating and supporting people in understanding that there are other options of fulfilling your dream of becoming a parent – such as adoption! With the success of our Game of Thrones-inspired fundraiser, the aim is to keep the momentum going with our fundraising events. 100% of our profits via fundraisers go to:
1) Two orphanages in North and East India:
a) Matruchhaya Orphanage in Nadiad, Gujarat India
b) Sahyog Village Orphanage in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India
We are involved in fundraising to raise money for basic necessities at these orphanages such as food, clothing, medical and school supplies. Our commitment is to expand our philanthropic activities with a focus on the most vulnerable children – girls and older children, 7 years of age and over.
2) An adoption support group called "Lean on Me" created to provide resources to families who have adopted their children from India and who may want or need to connect on successes and personal experiences from their journey.
